Ingenious Media Ltd. acts as the Data Controller for personal data processed through this website in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), the UK Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

For exhibitors and partners, we may also collect company profiles, booth assignments, and lead engagement data.

3. Legal Basis For Processing

We rely on consent, contractual obligation (to fulfil ticketing, registration and event services), legitimate interest (analytics, marketing, security, service optimisation), and legal compliance.

4. How We Use Your Data

Registering and confirming attendance, issuing tickets and badges, sending pre- and post-event communications, sending newsletters (with consent), personalising content, tracking website behaviour for analytics, allowing exhibitors to follow up if your badge is scanned (with consent), maintaining security, and complying with legal obligations.

6. Marketing Communications

When registering, you have the option to receive updates and promotional communications from Ingenious Media. You may unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

7. Sharing Your Data

We may share your data with event exhibitors (if your badge is scanned, subject to your decline option), service providers (hosting, analytics, marketing, registration — all bound by data processing agreements), event partners (subject to opt-in consent), and legal authorities where required.

8. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymisation enabled, no user-identifying data sent to Google, data retention capped at 26 months, and Google Signals/ad personalisation disabled unless explicitly opted in.

9. Data Retention

Registration data: up to 36 months post-event. Marketing data: until you withdraw consent. Analytics data: retained per cookie policy. Comments or media: indefinitely unless removed by request.

10. International Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we ensure adequate protection via Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the UK Addendum, or Data Privacy Framework certification.

11. Your Rights Under GDPR And UK Law

You may access, correct, request deletion of, restrict or object to the processing of, or request the portability of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Contact us to exercise any of these rights — we respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) or the Information Commissioner's Office (UK).

Part 2 — Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance Of Terms

By accessing or registering for All Ireland Grid & Energy Conference & Exhibition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the accompanying Privacy Statement.

2. User Eligibility

To register or participate in the event, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent/guardian. You must provide accurate, complete information during registration.

3. Event Participation

Ingenious Media reserves the right to modify or cancel event programs without prior notice, refuse access to participants who breach these terms, and conduct photography or videography for promotional purposes during the event.

4. Badge Scanning And Exhibitor Interaction

By registering, you agree that if your badge is scanned at the event by an exhibitor, your name, email, company, and job title may be shared with that exhibitor, who may follow up with you directly. You can decline to have your badge scanned.

5. Marketing Consent

You agree that Ingenious Media may contact you via email or SMS regarding future events, surveys, offers, and industry news. You can opt out at any time.

6. Intellectual Property

All content (texts, logos, images, videos, designs) on this site is the property of Ingenious Media and may not be copied or used without written permission.

7. Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ingenious Media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, data loss or corruption, or event cancellations or force majeure events.

8. Changes To Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified via email.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dublin, Ireland.
